To hire our jet ski's you need to be 18 years old and over.

Our jet-skis can seat three people with a maximum weight of 240kg. We recommend only 1-2 people if you haven't ridden a jet-ski before as they are less stable when fully loaded.

We do a full induction before you get underway on our jetski's, including how to ride the jet-ski and the maritime rules. We make sure you are ready before you go off on your own. If you need the time to learn, one of our experienced operators can give you one-on-one training to get you up to speed.

In the summer, shorts and a t-shirt are fine or a swimsuit. 

Bring your own wetsuit if you wish.

We supply lifejackets, warm spray-tops and have a limited range of wetsuits to wear. 

No, but we do require photo i.d. (license, passport, 18+ card etc.)

There is no minimum age, however, all passengers must be wearing a properly fitted lifejacket. We have lifejackets to fit children from 5 years old.

With the jet-ski hire, our area of operation covers most of Akaroa Harbour, with some exclusion zones for your safety. There' over 10km2 for you to explore.

Our guided tours can go further around the outer bays of Banks Peninsula.

Tours also run from Sumner or Lyttelton during off-peak times by appointment.

This is to allow time for the safety briefing and fitting of life vests and means all trips can get away on time.
